Clinics & Services
In addition to GP consultations, the practice offers a range of clinics and healthcare services:
Our nurses run specialised clinics for diabetes, asthma, coronary prevention and smoking cessation advice as well as supporting those who are trying to develop a healthier lifestyle.
The treatment room nurse provides a comprehensive service dealing with wounds and dressings, blood and urine tests, immunisation, ear syringing and blood pressure checks as well as advice on minor ailments.
The health visitor runs child health clinics, which may incorporate immunisations, by appointment on Wednesday mornings. She also monitors health and development in children and families and is happy to give general advice.
Sessions held on a 6 weekly basis by appointment only. You must be referred and this can be done easily by booking an appointment with the Doctor.
Clinics are run on Tuesdays from 13:30 in conjunction with the team of community midwives to help you with all aspects of your care during pregnancy.
Well Woman Clinic

Patients aged over 75 who haven’t attended the medical centre for 3 years or more are encouraged to have regular health checks.
